This is the rat study that launched the intense public interest in carbon 60 as an anti-aging treatment. In 2012, researchers were measuring carbon 60 fullerene toxicity by feeding it to laboratory rats, dissolved in olive oil. But instead of causing an early death, the c60 olive oil rats lived almost twice as long.
